Toolbar TV is an extension for Swagbucks. If you have yet to signup for Swagbucks you can do so here, and if you are curious about how good the service is check out or review here!

Toolbar TV is not a formal part of the Swagbucks website but it is incredibly rewarding for little to no effort. It was actually built to be a part of the Swagbucks chrome extension and was then added to it via an Iframe. Knowing this you can then access it by one of two ways, which I have outlined below. The first method is the most effective in my opinion because you can make money in your browser tab while it’s muted.

  1. Go to this URL: http://toolbartv.swagbucks.com. Just watch in this window.
  2. Download the SwagButton Chrome Extension here.

I prefer to use the tab method and found it to be more rewarding and less annoying as you can mute the tab and not have to deal with the sound.

I have also tested it on mobile devices and found that while it works using the first method it’s more efficient and practical to use it in the tab and it’s less intrusive and irritating.

Earnings

I have found that you will earn anywhere between $.30 – $.45 while using ToolbarTV on my desktop device. I ran this throughout the entire day and for the Swagbucks conversion it works out to 30 – 45 Swagbucks per day. There are several playlists on the website that you can play. An important note is that once you watch a video you will not be able to watch it again and gain points until the following day. Your bar will increase 5% after each video watched. Once your bar reaches 100%, you are rewarded 3 Swagbucks and it resets to 0%.

This is a bit superior to the default Swagbucks TV option because there are no captcha’s, the playlists don’t pause either like they commonly do on Swagbucks TV. The major downside though is you have to watch 20 videos to get 3 Swagbucks and this is in line with the main website but it is an inconvenience.

This has been added to my routine and has proven to be successful in increasing my earnings without me requiring to do anything extra.
